The Last of the Mohicans

I chose to read the book "The Last of the Mohicans" because I had heard positive feedback about the corresponding film. The book focuses on the lives of two sisters, Cora and Alice. They are on a quest to find their beloved father. Magua, the evil Huron chief constantly creates conflict throughout the story. Hawkeye, the heroic scout, assists the sisters in finding their father and traveling in the wilderness. "The Last of the Mohicans" is packed with adventure and an easy read.
